It's been almost 4 months since I last posted and I was thinking about closing the blog since I seem to never get around to posting, but I have decided to start it up again, to post things so that Ethan can have it when he's older and see all the different parts of his life documented.

It's been a busy time and I haven't had a camera for the past while so I don't have tons of photos from the last 4 months, but I will put up what I have to catch up a bit. He is turning 2 on the 22nd of this month but due to different reasons, I wanted to have his party early -- so we did it yesterday.

He had so much fun and really enjoyed all the attention, gifts, snacks, ect. He got a Lightning McQueen cap from his auntie Shelly, a cool truck from his friends Eric and Amanda, some hot wheels from Justin, a cool spider man tooth brush from Auntie Elise (and thank god for it, this is the first time I have been able to brush his teeth without him screaming and hating it), and a Lightning McQueen school backpack filled with crayons, markers, drawing pads, ect, from me. He wasn't too crazy about the cake, like John, he's not into cake at all -- but the ice-cream was a definite hit.

Today I started the weening process (from the bottle) and he seems to be handling it very well -- he asked for it at first but I told him that now that he is 2 he is a big boy and doesn't need his bottles anymore, so he said ok and went down for nap without asking for it again. I'm ready for a long night though in case it doesn't go as well as it did today...we'll see. Here are photos from his party yesterday.

My camera is lost, sadly...so I dont have any photos yet...I'm trying to find it, but in the mean time thats why this blog has been very slow and boring.

Ethan is doing well though, just got over a pretty bad ear ache and is still having a bit of a cold...hopefully that will be over soon.
We started weening him from his bottle, well...taking away the milk in exchange for juice that I am slowly diluting more and more till its just water, and then no more bottle. I'm just doing it very gradually because he is very very attached and it would be too hard for him to just take it away.
He is starting to talk a lot more, both in English and french, as well as showing more interest in reading by himself, counting, coloring, ect. Anyway, I will try to take some photos soon for you all. Love you lots!

It's been a lonnnnnng time since I have updated this -- I got home on the 6th of this month and it was so so great to be back with Ethan and John. Ethan was thrilled to see me and woke me up early to give him all his new toys and stuff that I bought him. I got him a mini music set with a drum, sticks, shakers, a tambarine and harmonica, as well as some wooden puzzles/blocks, a set of cars and new books. We are taking 7 days for vaction/family time and Ethan is loving all the attention. heres some photos from since I have been back.

SNIFFFFFFFFFFFF!!!!!!!! I'm going to be leaving on the 5th for a month or more to maryland for different reasons. I am dying with the thoughts of having to be away from my baby for so long, atleast I have the peace of mind that he loves his daddy just as much as me and hes so attached to him, so even if he misses me, he has daddy. I wont be posting for a while since I wont be with Ethan anyway....so this blog will be on hold for a month or so, unless john figures out how to use it while im gone, and posts photos for me. Ethan is doing super well, getting all chubby again now that he is eating properly and not sick anymore. Please keep us in your prayers for this swine flu thats going around -- it seems to be sloweing down a bit, but its still a concern in our minds that its still around and contageous. Love you all!

I needed to kill some time today, So I got a tub and had a big water play/bath time afternoon.

It was great and they had loads of fun...probably took up a good hour and a half of my long afternoon, so that was a plus as well. Ethan is doing super well, I am so happy that he took the proper medicine and that we found out what was wrong, because he has been eating so much better since finishing his anti biotics, and even happier then he was before (if thats possible). Ethan is pretty much better now, he had his last shot yesterday...(totally heartbreaking)....and is on his last day of oral antibiotics and the doctor checked him yesterday and was surprised as to how well he was and how good he looked...so thats a relief! I'm so happy all the shots are over, because he LOVES going out in the car, and has never been scared of the hospital at all, cuz he normally just goes in for little check ups and a occational perscription for a cold or cough, ect. But he got smart after the 2nd shot and realised that everytime he went to the hospital (in this last week), they hurt him and so the last 2 shots, the second we drove up to the clinic, he started crying and saying no....he was so scared of getting his shots that he didnt even want to get in the car on the last day. This weekend were going to take him to a park that has fun rides and play places, so that he wont think every time he goes out he has to get an owiee. Anyway, I'm glad thats over....he just got in his 9th and 10th tooth (molars), and 2 more are looking like they will break through any day now...so that has made him a little sad and owiee, but other then that he is doing super well and sleeping great! I love you XXX

sorry i'm not posting....I'll explain.

Ethan went in for tests (blood, stool, ect.) because there was a salmonella virus going around and so I wanted to check to see if he had it. He wasn't showing any signs of being sick or anything
(other then having diareah for about a week), he was his normal self and totally happy so I didn't think he had anything. But little did I know, his results came in and from what the doctor told us he has the very worst case of salmonella (4 different types of it), and it was so bad that it has turned into Typhoid fever. I sorta freaked out cuz he said if he doesnt show better results by sunday, he will need to be hospitilized. For the next 4 days he will take a shot per day of anti biotics and is also taking another anti biotic by bottle. He is acting totally fine, super happy, no fever, an occatioal tummy pain....but he's being sooo tough for having such a serious sickness.

Please keep him in your prayers, I deffinetly do not want him to have to be hospitilized and we are doing everything we can to make him better.
The doctor said that he looks like he will pull through it pretty fast because he doesnt even have a slight fever. Hopefully after sunday (his last shot) the virus will be completely gone and he will be better.

Today I started potty training Ethan -- hmmm....so far it hasen't gone the greatest, he hates having to sit on it and as soon as he hears the word potty, he goes to the corner and tries to force himself to go in his diaper before I can sit him on the potty....quite the sneeky little prince. I got him some cookies to try to bribe him, and it seems like it has worked so far, I can atleast get him to sit for 2 minutes (which is all that is nessessary because i've heard that its bad for babies to sit on a potty for too long) while having his cookie and doing his flash cards or reading a book, ect.

Sorry I havent been posting for the longest time....and when I do its only photos....things have been pretty busy and its hard to find time to blog.

All is well, Ethan has been such a good boy and is getting so smart. He adores his school and when he sees all his flash cards and books, he comes and plops himself in my lap and points to what he wants saying please. He is not talking much yet because he is learning French (from tiffany, his godmother) and so they say it takes longer for a child to talk when hes learning more then one language. It's pretty cute though, he understands french as well as english....is more obedient to french commands and everything, such a smartie.

He does say a coupple words like mama and dada, ball, baba (for bottle), tries to say dog every once in a while...but other then that he just makes sounds for what he wants and nods his head yes or no. His new craze is "animals at a zoo" a book I got him recently, he makes every animal sound in the book, its pretty darling.

Anyhow, heres some photos from yesterday. We filled our pool a few feet high (its normally way too cold to even have a pool so we dont fill it, but its really nice weather these days and the kids dont mind the icey water) for the kids to swim a bit....Ethan used to love water but he got scared once during his bath because he slipped. So untill yesterday, he wouldnt take baths at all and would only shower with john or I holding him the whole time.

John wanted to get him used to being in the water again, so slowely eased him closer in the pool and finally after about an hour of trying, he would walk up to the water by him self -- and a while after that he would go in up to his waist. Hopefully that helped him to not be scared of the water anymore.....I'm thinking of getting him a blow-up pool this month so I can make the water warmer. Ok, im going to stop blabbing....just updating the relatives and grandparents, since its rare I write anything at all. LOVE YOU ALL!!

My lazy baby of love is finally starting to walk....He still will only take a few steps at a time and doesnt even like doing that much, as hes lazy and wants to be held all the time...but I'm happy at least that he is starting to try. It's soooo cute though, the way he waddles around and stuff...Im so proud! I'm going to take a video as soon as he will let me and as soon as he will take more then 5 steps and only to me. (WE MISS YOU DADDY!!!! Ethan doesn't forget you, he sees photos of you and says dada byebye and then makes the car sound...so smart...and sometimes he crys untill I let him hold the picture frame of you and he kisses it.) We celebrated Ethans birthday today because Daddy is going on a trip and is leaving before his birthday but didn't want to miss it...so we did his little party today. I don't have the photos yet but will post them as soon as I get them. He had fun, He liked his presents...at least I think he did, he was so busy with the soccer ball we got him (the first one he opened) that he didnt show much interest in the other things (little people noahs ark set, little people gas station set with cars, and a fire truck with little men)....but after he played with his new soccer ball for over an hour, he played with all his other new toys too. I made him a "Cars Lightning McQueen" cake as he LOVES that cartoon (the only thing besides baby einstein and kiddie viddies that he will watch), he wasnt so into the cake as hes not into sweets much but he did notice that it had a car theme as when he saw it, he made the car sound all excitedly. Anyway, My little boy is a year old and I almsot can't believe how fast the his first year went, I'm so happy that he is growing up though and learning so much. Ethan has come dome with yet another sickness...it's so sad and it just seems non stop, I don't know why as I really ate healthy when I was PG and he eats very well for the most part, I guess he just has a very low resistance to sickness since I don't nurse him anymore...who knows. There has been a cough/fever/stomach bug going around for a coupple months now, and it seems like every time he gets better, he catches it again from someone else...so now he is sick again, still with his cough from before and now this whole vomiting thing again which is really hard on him, now to mention us as well as it keeps him up a lot during the night. Please pray that it goes away soon, as I don't want John or I to get sick from being run down and lack of sleep. I hope to post some photos soon, i just haven't had a chance to take any since it's been around the clock caring for him and nursing him back to health. His birthday is coming up pretty soon so hopefully he will be all better by then and I will take lots of photos of the event. I love you all!!

He's soooo very handsome! Still not walking, but were working on it, he can stand by himself but does not like to walk without holding both my hands....His girlfriend (Charlie) came home the other day and he was elated...kissed her, yelled in her face (made her scared and cry) , head butted her and pulled her hair (all forms of affection in his mind). She missed him too and loves being around him except when he bullies her. He has recently started to learn the concept of sharing his toys and things, as he did not have to do this before, but she is now old enough to play and wants his toys and he gets very possessive and grabs and then hits...naughty boy, we are also working on that, he started getting the idea though and as long as he has a toy in each hand, he wont grab her toy and will offer her to trade if he wants what she has. When I think about you Mom, so many things come to my mind. It would be very hard to sum you up in one word, because to me you are so many things. There is so much I admire about you, so many qualities you have that I and probably every other mom would be so lucky to have. The patience I have seen in you is incredible, I don't know how you do it. I find myself complaining and feeling sorry for myself after the bad night of sleep i sometimes have when Ethan keeps me up a lot, but when i actually think about it, I could never compare with you, who did it day after day, year after year, with not 1 or 2, but 9 of us...the sleepless nights, the gross throw-ups and pees and poops on you freshly washed sheets, the back aches from carrying us all day long, all the "kiss-it-better"s and not to mention the heart aches of dealing with a sick baby. The times when you exhausted both your brain and body to think of ways to keep us happy, busy, and out of trouble, and still to this day, the nights when you lie awake worrying and praying for each of us when we do stupid things or make dumb decisions....all these things amaze me about you. I have so much to be thankful for, god gave me the best mom in the world, you. If you were given trophies for all your mothering skills, you would have hundreds. Thank you for how much you sacrificed for me and all my sisters and brother. You are the best example of a perfect mother and if I did have to sum you up into one word, its would have to be "perfect". I love you mom, have a very very happy birthday

Ethan has developed a new love for cars, trucks, buses, any vehicle that moves basically. He will sit by the street with me for close to an hour just watching them go by and trying to copy the sounds they make, it's a good way (the only way) of keeping him awake till his scheduled nap.

Time to potty train

Before I got pregnant and was used to taking care of other peoples kids, teaching and baby sitting, ect., I said that "if I ever had a kid I would start to potty train him as soon as he could sit" because I was so sick of changing 2 year olds diapers and wet clothes.
(honestly tho, its sort of gross in my opinion to have a child that can already walk and talk, not be able to say "i need to go potty". But that is debatable and a matter of opinion because some children just learn slower then others and theres nothing the parents can do about it).
Anyway, I did try...but my stubborn son refused to sit on the potty up untill a few days ago....so i guess now is a good time to start. He has been doing ok as long as I potty him every hour I can keep him pretty dry during the day. Heres some of his first potty photos.

He stood by himself for the first time for about 5 seconds with daddy yesterday, I'm hoping he will be walking by next month as he has tried to take steps already and walks really well holding on. He's not scared of falling either, which is good so he keeps trying.

I am learning that when john or I are away, he tends to not sleep very well.
John is gone for 2 days and both nights have been pretty rough on the sleeping side of life. I have high hopes for tonight as I look pretty haggard and need some shut eye. It's getting quite cold now so I have pulled out his warm clothes...he hates being dressed so much and he hates hats (like his dad), but I hope he'll get over that as his cold is almost gone and I would hate for it to come back.

The guy that did my hair (and all my brides maids) for the wedding came over and cut all the kids hair (for free). I thought the it would scare him but he loved it, just sat super still and let him cut. I'll post photos here of his "new look".

He has also developed (as I've found most babies and toddlers do) a love for opening cupboards and taking everything out and putting it back in, im going set up for him his own little cupboard with stuff that is baby proof so that I wont have to keep taking him away from our drawers and closets.

...is sicky. when I came home Ethan had caught a pretty bad cold due to weather changes, so he's been quite the grouch recently. His cold is pretty much gone now, so thats good news, although bad news came with that, he just got a pretty owiee rash on his little bottom as of 2 days ago. It's doing better now but it still bothers him so im putting all sorts of natural stuff on him as I think he is allergic to Desitin (because he only got the rash after using desitin). Anyway, on a more positive note, He is starting to try to stand on his own, of course he falls every time, but at least he keeps on trying. Heres some photos of the last week, I tried to get a smile out of him but because he wasn't feeling well he didn't want to.

Ethan is slowly but surely starting to show interest in trying to walk...he can now pull himself up and hold on to things, and walk a little bit holding on, he's actually getting pretty good at it.
I'm going to be leaving in a week for a 7 day long teacher seminar...it's going to be fun, but i'm really dreading leaving my little angel for so so long, daddy will be weening him with the help of tiffany (his god mommy who he really really loves)...I really shouldn't be worried about him (now im sounding like one of those over protective/paranoyed parents that I used to make fun of... :P) it's just that i would hate to miss any of his life at all...and if he is without me for even a day, when he sees me at the end he is soo worried that someone is gonna take him away from me again so he holds onto me super tight and says ma ma over and over to me.

Muffin finally outgrew his baby bed/playpen, so i moved it into the nursery to be used as a play pen for him and Charlene. John built him a new bed yesterday, I think he likes it because there more space for him to crawl and get around before bed when he usually likes to play with books and play guitar with daddy. (he loves it when john plays the guitar for him or lets him strum along with him, nothing else makes him as happy as that, he'll start banging on it as john plays thinking hes drumming...hopefully this interest for musical instruments with stay with him as he gets older) Anyway, heres some pics of his new bed.

....Starting to crawl!!!!!! -- Ethan turned 8 months 2 days ago (the 22nd) and on that day, he made his first attempt at trying to crawl! He got a couple bumps on his head from diving forward too fast onto the marble floor, but that didn't stop him at all...he sometimes gets really frustrated if its taking him too long to get to the toy i put a ways away for him to get too, but he is slowly learning patience and is doing really well. I'm so happy he is finally crawling because the last 3 month he has been more fussy and wired up because he couldnt move around, but didn't want to be held so now that he can do it on his own, its already made a big difference in his moods.

We got to take off to Ixtapa for 9 days to take a little vacation with Ethan, it was quite the experience....right before we left to ixapa Ethan started sleeping in till 8 am (reaaaaally good compared to his normal 6 or 6:30 am) so I was really happy that maybe his schedule was changing so we would let us catch up on some sleep during our vacation....Little did I know he was getting in his 5th and 6th tooths that I had no idea were even starting to come in as he just cut his 2 front teeth right before vacation (I didnt find this out till the day we were driving home, yesterday, and saw that they had both cut through) So my poor little muffin had a really rough time, never slept past 5:30 am, hardly took his naps so would be really tired and grumpy and for the most part didnt like being in the water (unless he was in a really good mood, then he loved it...also the last day we were there i think was the end of his teething pain cuz he slept in and loved swimming all day and didnt want to leave the water...they must have cut through that day). It was so hard for me because I wasn't used to dealing with a EXTREMELY high maintenance baby that only wanted to be held and nursed since normally it doesn't take much to keep him happy and entertained. Well we did our best to make it a fun time for him and hopefully next vacation it will be a little more layed back and relaxing. Wow, its been a hectic last month...hence my lack of posting on this blog..sorry. John came home and things were really busy so i never had time to get online much, shortly after the business sort of died down for a day or two, our internet went out for a week so i again, had a excuse to not be able to post...THEN...Ethan got real real sick...poor baby of love! He had a fever of 103.0 degrees for 4 days along with strep throat that he probably caught from this other kids that had it here for a few days. I took him to the doctor after his fever didnt go away for 2 days and he gave me all these things for him to take...fever reducer, antibiotic for his throat and some other sort of yucky medicine....he wouldnt take any of them, I would work so hard to make it a fun "activity" to take his medicine and when he would finally take it and swallow it, withen seconds he would vomit all over me and all over everywhere...it was too sad as throwing up would hurt his throat and he would then cry for a long time till I could distract him from his pain. So I called my doctor again and told him that he wouldnt take his medicine at all and that I tried a few times already with each different one he had to take, and since this throat infection was very contagious and we have a newborn in the house with us and another 5 month old baby, it would be dangerous for it to spread, and this type of infection doesn't go away without taking antibiotics, we had to take him in for a shot of penicillin and then another shot the next day...all that to say it was a very traumatic experience for my poor son and me....anyway, all is well and ill post lots of photos as soon as I take them off my camera.

Shes doing well and is healthy, very good docile girl, sleeps very well at night as far as I know and isn't colicky so far.

Sorry blog readers that its been a few days since i've posted, John got home so I wanted to spend all my time with him and Ethan now that we are back together as a family. He got back from the airport after a friend picked him up, at 1 am...I tried as hard as possible to wait up for him but that didn't work out so well after having a glass of wine, i was soooo tired and fell to sleep on the couch in the middle of a movie. Anyway, John woke me up when he came in the room and I was SO happy to see him, he unpacked all his presents for me and in the midst of the noise Ethan woke up, which john was happy for as i asked him not to wake him up cuz he would be grumpy...but he woke on his own and a huge smile lit his face when he heard johns voice...then he looked around and saw him and started kicking and kicking for him to hold him...its was sooo darling!! It took Ethan 2 days to get used to john being back, he would cry non stop for his attention and then also cry if john gave me attention because he was super jealous and clingy. All is well now and he's happy again, im still trying to get him to like the walker john got him...hes just a lazy little man...but hopefully soon he'll get the hang of it.

My squishy is so pretty and fat..(I nick named her Helga...don't know why...just sounds like a fat persons name, at least its not as bad as what her dad calls her "kanish" short for "kanishski" who is a sumo wrestler...heh) Shes so pretty, although she looks kinda weird with her eyes open...(No offense Shelly)...but then again, it's quite rare to find a cute new born. I'm contemplating what I should get her as my first "god mothers" deed, maybe a low fat chocolate bar, she could stand to loose a few pounds, I still don't know how Shelly managed to get the thing out...god forbid it happen to me. I finally got the nursery set up for the babies, so the other day they had their first day in their new room, I think they enjoyed the newness of being in a classroom with new toys and things they can learn and play with...they both sat tight for their flash cards (both as in Ethan and Charlene, Esther's adorable baby girl) and loved them, they played together with the different educational toys and went in the johnny jump-ups...it was really cute, Ethan is in love already, with Charlie...I don't think shes too into him yet as his love can be a little rough for her little queenly self, but shes quite the flirt with people she chooses to like and has the most beautiful smile ever.

Ashley is doing well, so far hasn't shown any signs of having jaundice which is good, because Teri got it really bad. Shes a little sleeper and wants to eat ALL the time, so sweet. Her first bath was adorable, she loved it and basically slept through the whole thing, so calm . (unlike Ethan who screamed for his first 2 baths, but now loves them). I'll be posting photos of Ashley here sometimes for family who wants to see, as shelly is busy and doesn't want to have a blog right now. Anyway, I love you!!

I got all foolish after being told that I was making such a huge deal out of his 6th month, so I played on it a little and baked him a cake ( a very healthy carrot cake made with honey and nuts and raisins and dried pineapple). He didn't really like it, I guess he wasn't used to such a sweet thing, so he chose the big piece of steak in front of him instead.

Ok, so I know this is completely unnecessary but I had to make a post dedicated to my angels half year day..heh....he's 6 months old today and i'm so proud of him and all that he's learning.

Tidbits from this month are:

*Sits in booster chair at the table
*Says "ma-ma" when sad or wants something
*Stands up pretty well holding on to things (chairs, table, ect.)

Ethans 3rd tooth FINALLY came in!! He's been so brave but this one was more painful then the last 2 as he was extra sad during sometimes of the day...atleast he still slept very well during this time. His daddy got him his first sippy cup and sent it down with jordan who came home early for shellys birth, he LOVED it, wouldnt put it down or let me take it away, he fell to sleep holding it till he dropped it in his sleep. I noticed the other day that I think he has a favorite color, yellow. Everything yellow he gets all jumpy and excited and want to hold it. The other night, as you will see in the photos, we were having champaign to celebrate the arrival of the new baby girl, Ethan was going crazy seeing all the bottles and glasses and wanted to drink it. I gave him a small sip and immediatly he was begging and begging for more...I think its because when they know they cant have something, they want it even more. When the bottle and glass were empty i gave them to him to play with and he was trying so hard to get something out of them, it was so cute! Anyway, enough babbling...heres photos, enjoy!

(PS to John, I love you baby, and miss you so much....We both are counting the days till you get home, Ethan is clinging to every guy he sees because he misses his fatherly figure, Jordan holds him and he just lies on his shoulder and hugs him so tight....poor baby misses his daddy! Ashley Sky was born this morning after 5 hours of labor. The midwife took a wrong turn and so she didn't show up till a half hour after the baby was born, so sweet Joy took care of everything and did a wonderful job.

Shelly was AMAZING!! This was the first birth I have ever been to and she was so brave, hardly peeped till time came to push. There were no complications, which of course was wonderful as all joy had to work with was a little medical emergency kit, dental floss and nail cutting sizers for the cord. She pushed for only 15 minutes and then the whole body came in one big push at the end, Jordan was elated and so was shelly. Anyhow, I went in to take a quick photo of her so that I could show you all...shes a pretty little girl, very chubby but surprisingly calm, she had to get a shot at one point of a certain vitamin and she barely made a sound, just went right to sleep. Anyway....heres the little muffin.

I love you baby!!! We just wanted to tell you how much we miss you and love you....Ethan is growing so fast, almost too fast, everyone that sees him thinks hes 10 months or older because hes so big and sits and stands holding on so well. Heres a bunch of photos from today...We did a big pizza BBQ with Miguel and Esther...it was quite the project and took up a good 4 hour chunk of our long tiring day...(Ethan was up quite a bit last night, but I wont complain because it's only once in a blue moon that he sleeps bad). Anyway, it was fun cuz all the kids got to roll their own pizza dough and then i would make them and give it to Miguel to cook. All in all, it was fun and now im really ready for bed. He's continuing to grow bigger and fatter by the day, weighing at 21 lbs its getting harder to hold him now...thank god I ordered a walker that daddy will bring home in 5 weeks...(sniff, I miss you honey). Ethan ate his first egg today, I mashed up a soft boiled egg for him and I think he liked it...his adorable baby breath is starting to go away now since he's eating all sorts of things. I do miss his new-born stage but i'm happy he's growing up so that I can start teaching him and really playing with him. His godfather just bought him the most adorable new clothes but they are still a little big, but i'll post photos as soon as we wears them (Thank you Oliver, I love you). I took Ethan to the town square to get him ice cream and loli pops...(just kidding daddy)...no, I just went there to get out of the house with him cuz since he has been teething, he gets a little more restless and wants to do a bunch of stuff, so we went there, he rode on the marry-go-round with me and watched these guys putting on a drumming show with all these different shaped drums...it was pretty cool, he didn't want to stop watching. I also took him swimming, well...not really swimming but sort of, some of the other kids were having a pool party with water balloons for Jolene and Aidans birthday, so he got all excited looking at the water so I brought a tub outside with warm water and toys and he had a blast...anyway, here are the photos. ...Tomorrow....but I wanted to post about it because im excited as he is growing so fast.

(Daddy, we miss you SO much, it seems like it going to take forever till you come home to us, but I guess we will have to patient, Ethan can tell you are gone, every morning he looks over the bed for you to play but gets offended when he sees you are not there. I showed him the video of you making him laugh and he watched it like 4 times and was laughing the whole time.)

Ethan slept I think the best he has ever slept last night, he went to sleep at 10:00 pm, and didn't wake up at all till close to 8:30 the next morning....I think its because since daddy is gone, I let him sleep in bed with me last night cuz he was being a bit clingy...I'll have to not let him do this too much because he'll get used to it, as he already knows that he has to sleep in his own bed.
He is continuing to teethe more and more, but he is a brave little one and doesn't get too fussy till later in the evening. he is starting to let me put him on his tummy for longer periods of time now so I hope he will start trying to crawl soon. Anyway, enough blabbering.

Liz and Micah came over the other night for a party and brought their little man over (julian...he's adorable) who is 2 months younger then Ethan, a big boy though.....here are some photos.

John left at 4 am this morning to set off on his lonnnnnng trip to Florida. He will be gone for close to 6 weeks along with Jordan, Mikey, and Sam, to do a construction job at some hotel. My brave little angel had his first accident today...He fell off the bed and got quite the bump on his head. I should have known better and am normally good with not leaving him on the bed by himself, but he had went pee everywhere all over his clothes so i turned around to get his towel to bathe him, and he had scooted off the bed. He was very brave and cried only for half a minute till I nursed him and put honey on his head (very good for bumps so that they dont bruise). Anyway, now I know better and will never leave him even for the second that I did. Sorry I have been a lazy blogger...for one, I hate blogs...and I have been busy with Ethan as he is growing out of his naps and only take 2 a day now...so he keeps me busy. Sweet Tiffany took him for me for my day off so that I could sleep in and relax...here are the photos. He is so big now, already wanting to walk around so im going to get him a walker soon, as he refuses to try to crawl....he is lazy and only wants to be on his tummy for sleeping so i dont think he will be a crawler...at least not for a long time. he gained 2 pounds this month and so carrying him around is getting more back-breaking by the day...I'm lucky he likes his stroller.

Ethan's first tooth came in today, I know it's really not that big of a deal but it's so exciting for me as he's growing up so fast! Too bad John is still not here to see it yet. Poor guy, he was gone for the first time he rolled over, the first time he laughed, sat up, and now his first tooth....Anyway, heres some photos of my muffin.

John called last night to talk to me (He is on a trip for 2 weeks), He heard Ethan making noise in the background as we were talking so he wanted to say hi to him. I put the phone to Ethan's ear and he immediately started kicking and laughing and was so happy, after i took the phone away I looked over at Ethan and his chin started quivering and he burst into tears and didn't stop crying till I gave him back the phone. It was so cute that he knew the voice and it made him miss John. He's coming home the day after tomorrow...yay!

Ok so I'm SO proud of Ethan, he just, just turned 4 months a week ago and just today sat by himself with no help for the first time!! It's the cutest thing ever!!! Ethan is starting to teeth more now, he is drooling up a storm and sucking/biting everything that he can get into his mouth. Thankfully he's not too much of a grouch and is doing pretty well. I recently had to change his schedule up a bit as since he is getting older he can no longer sleep both all day and all night. He used to take two 3 hour naps a day and then 1 or 2 shorter ones in between but about 2 weeks ago he started staying up most of the night as he was sleeping all day, so now he only gets to sleep 3 hours spread out over his day and then he sleeps all night long. He is doing well with this new schedule and is happy all day until about 8:30 pm, and goes to bed at around 10:00. I took him on the baby outside swing that we have and he just loved it and didn't want to get out for the longest time. I'll post photos as soon as I can, our internet is acting up and wont let me post any files.
