He misses his Dada

John called last night to talk to me (He is on a trip for 2 weeks), He heard Ethan making noise in the background as we were talking so he wanted to say hi to him. I put the phone to Ethan's ear and he immediately started kicking and laughing and was so happy, after i took the phone away I looked over at Ethan and his chin started quivering and he burst into tears and didn't stop crying till I gave him back the phone. It was so cute that he knew the voice and it made him miss John. He's coming home the day after tomorrow...yay!

To the best daddy ever....We miss you!!

Proud Mother

Ok so I'm SO proud of Ethan, he just, just turned 4 months a week ago and just today sat by himself with no help for the first time!! It's the cutest thing ever!!! Ok so maybe I'm a little over excited, but im just so proud of him...heh. Heres a photo of him sitting.

It obviously took lots of concentration, but he did it!!!!!

Ethan is starting to teeth more now, he is drooling up a storm and sucking/biting everything that he can get into his mouth. Thankfully he's not too much of a grouch and is doing pretty well. I recently had to change his schedule up a bit as since he is getting older he can no longer sleep both all day and all night. He used to take two 3 hour naps a day and then 1 or 2 shorter ones in between but about 2 weeks ago he started staying up most of the night as he was sleeping all day, so now he only gets to sleep 3 hours spread out over his day and then he sleeps all night long. He is doing well with this new schedule and is happy all day until about 8:30 pm, and goes to bed at around 10:00. I took him on the baby outside swing that we have and he just loved it and didn't want to get out for the longest time. I'll post photos as soon as I can, our internet is acting up and wont let me post any files.
